Sculpture of the Shi Ten Ō Zōchōten. wood, lacquer, glass eyes. Zochoten (also called Hōchō, sanscr. Virudhaka), is one of the four deities guarding Heaven. God-king of the South, he is generally represented as a warrior, and trampling a demon or monster.
