Description
Nagamarugata iron tsuba decorated with maruboriji sukashi, nunomezogan and takazogan decorative techniques, with gold, silver and copper. It represents Izanagi and Izanami (brother and sister who created Japan) standing on a flying bridge. They are holding a spear from which drops falled to create Japanese islands.
