Description
Nadekakugata shakudo tsuba, decorated with gold, shakudo, shibuichi and suaka iroe takazogan of Jurojin, one of the seven gods of good fortune, with his deer.
Juroji is, in the Shichi Fuku-jin group, the god of longevity.
He is dressed in the clothes of the ancient Chinese sages and a cap on which is depicted the sun disc. It has as an attribute a long knotty stick, and he is always accompanied by a deer or stag, shika in Japanese, symbol of autumn.
Tsuba Yoshida signed with kao.
