Description
Large white porcelain bowl with blue underglaze enamel decoration known as “kraak porcelain” with a central decoration of a scroll, a vase, and trims in a medallion. On the wing, four panels adorned with a stylized foo dog head above a lobed cartouche containing flowers and precious Buddhist objects. They alternate with four other small slightly molded relief panels, each adorned with tied ribbons. The exterior is decorated with polylobed medallions and stylized flower scrolls. The rim of the bowl flares out.
