Description
Ivory katabori netsuke representing a group of Kyogen and No masks with, among others, Hannya, Okina, Okame (chubby woman, also known as Otafuku).
From the 15th century, it is customary to introduce a comic episod between two No plays, called Kyogen: they are equivalent to the Comedia del Arte.
