Description
Ivory netsuke, katabori type (in three dimensions) representing an eagle holding in its talons a small wolf. His head is bent on its plumage and it has a watchful eye. The wolf is folded on itself, the eagle’s talons on his face and legs. The signature of netsuke is below, on the wolf.
