Description
Iron mokkogata tsuba, chiselled in taka-niku-bori, decorated in gold and silver takazogan. Ishimeji background (surfacing imitating stone).
The design depicts on one side a mahout on an elephant, holding a valiya kol (a long instrument used to control elephants), and on the reverse a Far-East oboe (Chinese suona or Indian shehnai).
