Description
Shintō blade shinogi zukuri, torii zori, o kissaki. Hamon gunome, mokume hada.
Nagasa 63 cm. The blade is decorated with two horimonos representing a dragon on one side and a buddhist ken with a bonji on the other.
Signed Kaneuji.
Koshirae in nashiji lacquer, handachi style mountings in shibuichi.
Menuki, kogai and kozuka in shakudo nanakoji decorated with Tokugawa family’s crests.
The tachikake is in black and nashiji lacquered wood, decorated in gold hiramakie with the
same crests.
