Description
Black laquered war fan decorated in gold and silver makie with moon phases on one side and a swastika under moon and sun on the other side. Silver mounts with a chiseled kebori mon same as the one on the box.
Original black lacquered box decorated in gold makie with a Maruno Uchini Mitsubiki mon . Wakebe family mon.
Ocher laquered inside, the box contains various accessories including a scholar suzuri bako, a mizu-ire and various locations for writing utensils.
