Description
Japanese «lantern clock» with brass casing and mechanism entirely made out of iron.
The fixed «hour» circle in silvered with the chinese zodiacal signs and numerals.
The clock has a double balance, one for day hours, one for night, a deep bell, and an alarm. The pyramidal stand inside which hang the weights that activate the mechanism is made out of black lacquered wood.
