Description
An antler netsuke representing Kwanyu, a famous chinese general from the 2nd century. He has been deified in 1594 as a war god under the name of Kwanti.
Very popular in japanese art, he is usually depicted as a tall chinese warrior with a determined expression on his face and a very long beard.
